JVC\\\'s GZ-MG465BE Everio 60GB HDD/Flash Memory Hybrid \\\'PAL\\\' Camcorder is a stylish, compact camera that can go anywhere you go. Just slip it into a bag, purse or backpack and forget about it until you\\\'re ready to record. The 1/6" 1.07Mp CCD image sensor captures clear, bright video and stills every time you shoot. The 60GB internal hard disk drive records up to 75 hours of footage; an additional 4 hours and 58 minutes can be stored onto a micro SDHC card. An optical zoom of 32x brings far off subjects closeup while the 2.7" 16:9 Widescreen Clear LCD provides generous space on which to compose and playback video.

The GZ-MG465BE also features a Data Battery, Everio Dock, a Gigabrid Engine and video image stabilization. Laser Touch Operation provides a scroll bar and buttons on the side of the LCD, keeping your display free from smudges and dirt. The Direct DVD button can burn DVDs of your footage with just one touch when used in tandem with the SHARE STATION (sold separately).

Gigabrid Engine

Specifically designed for JVC, the Gigabrid Engine processes the images you record, no matter what recording mode you\\\'re in, with six digital noise reduction systems to improve the signal to noise ratio by approximately 30%. An MPEG-2 encoder reduces and blocks noise, giving you the best picture possible.

Compact Design

The compact design of the GZ-MG465B makes it perfect for use on long trips or at family events. When you\\\'re not using the camera just pop it in a bag and forget about it until you\\\'re ready to record.

Laser Touch Operation

If you cringe at the thought of touching your camcorder\\\'s LCD screen then Laser Touch Operation will put you at ease. Instead of touching the screen, causing it to become dirty or smudged JVC provides you with a scroll bar and buttons on the side. By gliding your finger up and down on the bar a blue light will highlight where you want to navigate on the screen, allowing you to make your selections without having to touch the sensitive LCD.

DIRECT DVD Button

When you add the SHARE STATION DVD burner (sold separately) to your arsenal of camcorder accessories you can burn DVDs of your video footage with just the touch of a button. And, if you want to only record new footage you can manually select or pre-select those scenes with a Playlist.

The Konica Minolta lens on the GZ-MG465B is a high quality lens that captures clean, clear images. All your video and stills will be as beautiful as you see them with your own eyes.

LCD Backlight Control

Backlight Control makes it possible to easily view your LCD display outdoors as you can indoors by adjusting the brightness of the screen.

Video Image Stabilization

Video Image Stabilization corrects for the age old problem of handshake and body sway. Even if you don\\\'t have the steadiest grip on the camera the OIS will stabilize the image without any loss in quality.

Micro SDHC Card Slot

Use micro SDHC cards (sold separately) to record extra video or still images. A 4G SDHC card can hold up to 4 hours and 58 minutes of video.

2.7" 16:9 Widescreen Clear LCD

The roomy 2.7" LCD uses a 16:9 aspect ratio, allowing you to shoot and playback images in cinematic widescreen. The Clear LCD reduces surface glare and reflections allowing for clear viewing when you\\\'re recording outdoors even on bright days.

DV Output

The DV output (i.LINK, IEEE1394) terminal is located on the Everio Dock, enabling dubbing of your video to an external DVD/HDD recorder or PC.

AV Connection

Watch your video on that giant big screen TV of yours with the AV output found on the Everio Dock. You can also connect to a VCR or DVD recorder to copy your footage to VHS or DVD.

Data Battery

JVC\\\'s Data Battery system let\\\'s you check remaining battery power (for JVC batteries only) in percentage and recording time in minutes, with the camera on or off.

Built-In Sliding Lens Cover

The days of losing your lens cover are over! The built-in cover automatically opens when you turn the camera on and closes when you turn it off.
