You can make PAL or NTSC DVD recordings on re-writable DVD-R/-RW/+R and DVD-RAM. With a built-in PAL TV tuner, clock/timer, the DMR-EH57 gives you familiar recording features often found on VCRs — plus a whole lot more. Jump directly to any spot and begin playing or recording right away. You can arrange recorded programs for playback in any order you choose. The "Chasing Playback" feature lets you watch the beginning of a recorded program while the show is finishing recording! You can also record one program while watching another program you\\\'ve previously recorded. A handy control on the remote lets you search through recorded segments quickly and precisely.

This unit does not convert between PAL and NTSC. To record in PAL this unit must receive a PAL signal. To record in NTSC this unit must receive an NTSC signal. If you need to convert signals between PAL and NTSC we suggest you also buy the CMD-850 Professional video converter we sell.

 

NOTE:

This model doesn’t have NTSC (American) Tuner. You will not able to record satelite broadcasting programs using NTSC tuner.
